Is ZD421 the same as ZD421-HC?
No. ZD421-HC is the healthcare direction. Zebra materials list healthcare colour, cleanable plastics and healthcare power supply features, so it should be checked separately.
Does ZD421 support Wi-Fi?
Wireless is available by configuration. Zebra product materials list Wi-Fi 6 / Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 5 / Bluetooth 4.1 options, while the technical specifications list field-installable wireless.
Can ZD421 use ribbon?
Yes, if a thermal transfer roll or ribbon cartridge configuration is selected. Direct thermal models do not use ribbon.
Can cutter or peeler be added?
Zebra technical specifications list field-installable cutter and dispenser / peeler options, but the selected model and Part Number should be checked.
What information is needed for quotation?
Share label size, material, print content, daily print volume, connection method, cutter / peeler / Wi-Fi / Ethernet / Serial needs and existing system details.
Do I always need 300 dpi?
No. General labels can often start from 203 dpi review. Small text, compact labels or dense barcodes should be tested for 300 dpi.
